Meyers, a freshman goalie, was honored as the Girls Player of the Month. In five starts this season, she has been lights out, as she has recorded two shutouts to go along with a .947 save percentage and a 3-1-1 record.
The New Jersey Devils honor eight ice hockey players from around the state each month as part of its Players of the Month program, which is now in its 28th season. These selections are made based off of nominations by media members who cover high school hockey. All winners and their guests receive tickets to a Devils' game, and also receive a certificate presented by a Devils' player.
