Feb. 14 recap: Balanced effort for Morristown-Beard in win over rival


Noah Jones scored twice and had an assist to lead Morristown-Beard to an 8-2 win over Morristown at Mennen Arena.

Cam Fernandez added a goal and two assists for Morristown-Beard, which improved its overall record to 3-1-1 and is now 2-0 in Mennen Division play, with both of its wins coming over Morristown.

In total, seven different players found the back of the net and 11 players got on the scoresheet. Hollis Humphries, Andrew Low, and Kareem Alazem each had a goal and an assist. Logan Jaeger and Roman Berger both scored for the Crimson, which will take on Morris Knolls-Hills on Monday night in a battle for the top spot in the Mennen Division.

Jack McKenna scored twice for Morristown (2-4-1).
