Delbarton, Pope John learn seeds for Gordon Cup

On Wednesday, the seeds for the Gordon Cup were released, and both Delbarton and Pope John learned of their seeds for the prestigious tournament.

Delbarton, which has reached the final for nine consecutive years, with four titles in that span, will be the fourth seed this year. It lost to Don Bosco Prep in last year's final, and Don Bosco Prep is the top seed this year, with Christian Brothers second and Bergen Catholic third.

Delbarton will draw fifth seed Gloucester Catholic in the first round on Monday, a team which it beat early in the season before playing to a 1-1 tie later on.

Pope John earned the eighth and final seed for the tournament, as it will take on top seed and defending champion Don Bosco on Monday.
